Auto Blue Diesel is the result of a hybrid between two autoflowering cannabis strains, Auto Biodiesel Mass and Auto Blueberry.
It accomplishes quite a feat by combining the citrus scent of the former with the delectable berry flavour of the latter.
Auto Blue Diesel grows into a small plant inside but can grow somewhat larger when planted directly in the ground outdoors.
Indoor plants will grow to a height of 50-85 cm, whilst garden plants will grow to a height of 75-120 cm.
It has an extremely short life cycle, with harvest occurring only 55 - 60 days after germination.
This means that, depending on the region and environment, growers can harvest up to three crops in a row throughout the growing season.
Staggering the crop, or planting another before the previous one is finished, allows for more than one crop to be grown even at higher latitudes.
Indoor yields will be good, ranging between 300 and 350 gr/m2.
As previously stated, the aroma is primarily of citrus fruit, with the berry flavour so beloved by devotees of Blueberry strains.
THC output is high (16%), and Advanced Seeds claims a higher percentage of CBD than usual, however we have no figures.
Because of the high resin production, this could be an useful strain for making concentrates and extracts.
