This strain is one of the first outdoor Indicas to be available from Sensi Seeds and is widely agreed to be both resilient and reliable. Since the early 80s Early Girls has been a trusted name amongst the growing and breeding community.
It is best known for being highly productive without requiring a high and complex level of cultivation. This makes it perfect for all sorts of environments such as balconies, conservatories, or even roof-terraces.
Early Girl is also extremely compact and so is perfect for those with limited space whilst also only needing to receive the sunlight it is given during the day.
With a good amount of sunlight, feeding, and watering this strain can essentially be left to its own devices whilst still producing an extremely impressive yield.
Early Girl was born from a combination of Afghani and North Indian strains which give it its famous resilient Indica features as well as its softer Sativa features.
This strain, like many of those bred by Sensi Seeds, has been left as a regular seed. Many breeders still prefer to avoid genetic alteration when it comes to their seeds as it ensures that the strains original and phenomenal genetic makeup is left intact.
There are many other reasons why growers and breeders across the globe prefer to use regular seeds rather than feminised or auto-flowering.
For a start they make breeding significantly easier as there is no complex plant alteration needed, as there is if a breeder were to use two female plants.
Keeping breeding simple can be an absolute must for many breeders, and they are perfectly happy to simply select the finest male and female plants to carry on the genetic line.
Regular seeds will grow into a roughly even split of male and female plants, often a little heavier on the female side. They also have a resilience and independence that is not as readily found in the genetically altered strains.
This strain flourishes in an outdoor environment, preferably cold or cool, but with plenty of sunlight. It has a relatively short flowering time of 50 - 60 days and is 75% Indica.
As previously mentioned it is well known for its large yield and can be kept compact, or if left to grow outdoors can reach rather impressive heights.
